StackOpsHQ

Privacy & Analytics

This page explains the limited information StackOps HQ uses to understand the site and support its affiliate-funded guides.

Optional website analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are visited and whether readers use our affiliate links. Analytics is optional. The Google Analytics script loads only after you select Allow analytics.

When analytics is allowed, we measure page views and an affiliate_click event containing the product name, destination URL, link text and page path. We do not send names, email addresses or form contents through these events. Advertising storage and personalization signals remain disabled.

Your choice

Your analytics choice is saved in your browser's local storage so the site can remember it. You can change it at any time using in the footer. Declining analytics prevents the external Google Analytics script from loading on future page views.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links are affiliate links. If you subscribe or buy after following one, the product company may attribute that transaction to StackOps HQ and pay us a commission. See the affiliate disclosure for our editorial approach.

Third-party services

If you allow analytics, Google processes measurement data under its own terms and privacy controls. If you follow an affiliate link, the destination service applies its own privacy policy and tracking practices.
